Maker of the Month: Henrietta Park

A talented designer who specializes in knitting and felting wool, she crafts a distinctive, stylish, yet practical collection of sustainable knitwear. Her creations feature British-spun lambswool, available in an array of vibrant colours.

Her mission is to blend sophistication with quirkiness, employing unconventional colour combinations to transform the humble woollen garment into a truly stylish "must-have." Her pieces are perfect for lifting spirits during both winter and summer.

Her journey began with a fine arts education at Goldsmiths College, followed by a focus on shoe design at Cordwainers College. She operated a bespoke shoe shop in Clapham for many years before rediscovering her passion for knitting and colour experimentation.

Twenty-three years ago, she launched her knitwear business at Gabriel's Wharf on the Southbank in London. Recently, she relocated her creative studio to the picturesque Cotswolds in Stroud, continuing her dedication to innovative and sustainable design.

Henrietta has kindly donated a pair of beautiful block colour mitts.
